About the project
Mivvy were invited to pitch (and were successful in winning) the contract to update the visual identity for The Bahamas Maritime Authority. 3 initial concepts were presented as possible routes forward but there was one clear favourite upon showing our ideas. This was refined and then developed through all touch points within The BMA. Roll out took place over a period of several months whilst working in continuous collaboration with the internal marketing and IT teams.

The project included the creation of a new, responsive logo and development of a palette of rich, vibrant colours inspired by the bright, bold culture of The Bahamas. We researched and introduced a suite of multilingual typefaces ensuring a visual consistency no matter the language and also developed a suite of icons, graphic devices, brand assets and marketing collateral. The new look was encapsulated in a comprehensive brand style guide. As our relationship has flourished Mivvy has continued to support The BMA by creating a variety of marketing assets including; exhibition stand designs for the International Shipping Exhibition, Posidonia, animated videos, brochures, annual reports, newletters, a BMA news website, clothing and a host of other items. Our ongoing collaboration has ensured the consistent delivery of BMA marketing messages.
