Kent-based Gluck Accountants chose Mivvy Creative to create a clean, professional and inviting new logo design to represent their business.

Joe and Charlie are not your stereotypical accountants. They have a great energy about them and we hit it off right away after being recommended by our pals at Paradigm Business Solutions. They had set up their company branding to get them going at the inception of the business, and were at a point where they were ready to turn their attention to honing the look and feel to better represent them.

Our initial conversations were centred around charts and/or arrows being incorporated in the letter G, but after several attempts and a first round of submitted concepts it felt a little too forced… Not the vibe that they were looking for.

The next round of logos was stripped back and simplified, still trying to work the arrow in and exploring a combination of G & A letters to make the icon work for them. We were getting warmer, but still not quite hitting the mark. We also submitted a logo option that was revealed to be very similar to an existing mark - a reminder to always check your designs in the market place to make sure you’re not inadvertently plagiarising someone else’s work!

After a second round of amends and a total of 12 submitted options we struck gold. What we’ve landed on is a clean logo design, with bold, open and friendly letterforms and a rather delicious logo mark that features the G a little hidden A, and an arrow. Our final session poured over the laptop in their conference room sealed the deal and they chose option 10 of the submitted designs as the final logo - we’re really happy with choice, but more importantly, so are Gluck Accountants.

We went on to roll the logo out over a variety of touch points, and bringing Immersive Print onboard too, we branded their offices with frosted vinyl and raised lettering wall logos.
